What happened between two of the internet’s biggest stars
After a year of rumours and speculation, Alex Cooper and Alix Earle have addressed their fall-out… publicly.
Alex, the host of the Call Her Daddy podcast and founder of The Unwell Network, posted a video ‘calling out’ Alix for the “passive aggressive” reposts and asking her to “get specific and just say what you got to say about me”.
Although it wasn’t exactly clear which pass-ag posts Alex was referring to, the internet’s got its theories about why the two ex-colleagues may be feuding.
Alix Earle responded to the video by reposting it and commenting “Okay on it!!”.
Kind of hilarious.
But what’s this all about?
Alex’s video comes just days after Alix Earle reposted a TikTok which likened Alex Cooper to an "ambulance chaser" and a "grim reaper" begging celebrities to stop sharing their traumatic stories.
For context, Alex Cooper has been widely criticised for her perceived lack of journalistic depth, who is privileged to high profile interviewees [fucking Kamala!!] but acts more like a fan than a journalist.
Alix and Alex had been rumoured to be feuding since Alix’s podcast, Hot Mess, was removed from The Unwell Network in March 2025, despite being one of the first creators signed. But until Alix releases her comeback video, I guess we won’t really know…
